Although there are versions of Cinderella all over the World the one we are most familiar with was created by Charles Perrault in 1697 in France. It is a French Fairy Tale. Many people believe the Prince's castle is based off of the real Neuschwanstein Castle. The Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the most visited castles in Germany and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. The castle is located in Bavaria, near the town of Fussen.
